My visual story, "Stress to Peace," represents the process of feeling overwhelmed by school and eventually finding a moment of calm. I began with images of a stressed student and a cluttered workspace to represent pressure and exhaustion. I used darker and cooler tones in these images to make the beginning of the story feel heavier and more stressful.
The image of the person walking away represents the transition from stress toward relief. As the story continues, the colors become brighter and warmer. The green nature scene represents recovery and a calmer state of mind, while the sunset represents peace and closure. I used changes in lighting, color, and mood to make the emotional transition clear and to show how taking time away from stress can create a sense of balance and peace.
